Backstory:

Unions in Southeast Chicago not only advocated for workers, but also sponsored numerous social events, including holiday parties, picnics, and outings. Women’s Auxiliaries were key parts of union activities. This photo, along with a number of other photos of Local 65, was donated by Ed Sadlowski, a former President of the Local.
